Havin' a Ball! (literally)

My Sweet 13

Yo everyone! This is CC! Just wanted to update ya'll in telling you that today is my 13th birthday! Born on Constitution Day, baby!! I am posting from my laptop, which I got yesterday as a birthday gift! I also got a sketch pad, a Somersest Beach Campground t-shirt, some jewlery, some homeade gifts from Mylie, Darby, and Sophie.

Today, I am going to have the best birthday party in the history of girl-kind (like what I did there?? ya know, like mankind??). It has to be the best, or else it would be my party! Haha! Anyway, it is going to be a sleepover. We are going to have a B-L-A-S-T!!!

Also, when I got home from school, my parents surprised me with a min-room makeover! One wall of my room is now dark purple, and I have tons of pillows on my bed. I have 2 signs on my wall that read, "dream" and "stay cool and rock on". They are pretty sweet.

Gotta go now, because my friends are coming in like a half hour. For those of you who are questioning, yes, Tori is coming. Along with Lexi, Jayme, Stacy, and Seirra.

First Day of School

Yo!! This is CC!! I'm so sorry for not posting, I have just been so busy with many, many, things. Haha!

Anyway, today was the first day of 7th grade for me and Tori. I am going to tell my side of the story, and you might hear from Tori about her day.


Alrighty. So my first class of the day is science with Mrs Kelly. I had a lot of fun. She talked to us about the rules, and stuff we needed, and then she showed us all of the animals she has in her room. She has a tortoise, two hissing cockroaches (insert shudder here), two goldfish, and we are going to get some native fish, a lizard, crickets (food for the lizard), and these things called gordees, or something like that. They are like mini chinchillas. SO KEWL!!! I can't wait.

My second class is math with Mr McKenny. He taught a really cool lesson. He said, "pretend you have all graduated from college and you have $10,000." Then he handed us all "wheeler deelers" and we had to look up what we were going to buy with our ten thousand dollars. He said that we had to buy a house or a trailer. So I was looking through it, and me and my partner, Ceily, found a house in Lakeland, FL, for only $1,000. So I bought it!! I also found a van for $2,500. So I bought that. It might not be the most stylish vehicle, but I decided I could always go to a car body shop and get it all pimped out. Then, I bought German Shepard puppies for $400. It was an awesome deal cause they come with their shots and a "starter set." AWESOME! I totally wish that Mr McKenny had really given us that money. Anyway, I had a fun time in math.

The next class was advisory with Mrs Kelly again. There, we got our planners and locker combinations. My locker is in the 8th grade hallway. So that kinda stinks.

Then I had computers with Mrs Hinkle. None of us got our ID logins, so the whole period, she gave us a lecture on the evolution of computers. It was really interesting. Hopefully tomorrow we will have our logins so we can actually turn on the computer. Haha!

After that was lunch. Hallelujah!! The only bad thing about lunch is that I have it at 10:40. That's about the time I eat breakfast during the summer!! How ironic!

After lunch I had language arts with Mrs Hinkle again. That was fun. We didn't do much, just go over the rules and stuff, but it was sweet just the same.

After language arts I had social studies with Mr Hackworth.
Fun Fact: His brother in law is Kyle Luke. The camp director for Somerset!! Isn's that sweet???!!
Anyway, during social studies we filled out a paper with questions about us. Like "what is your favorite book?" "if you could go anywhere, where would it be?" "if you could have 3 people teach you for a day, who would they be?" Then we got to pick 1-5 M n' M's out of a bag, and however many you picked, that was how many facts you had to read about yourself. I picked 5. So I got to read 5 facts. Oh yeah. And you got to eat your M n' M's after. SCORE! I had a great time in social studies.

After that, I had choir with Mrs Bickle. I had her husband last year for band!! Choir was fun because we got to sing the first day! She told us to separate into groups of 3, pick a song from the board, and then sing the beginning, and then the rest of us would sing along with us. Tori, Lexi, and I sang "frera jaques" (pardon my spelling). It was really fun.

Then, my last class of the day was art with Mr Coppernoll. All we did was just get to know each other. I can't wait until we start to draw!!

Anyway, I had a great first day. I can't wait for tomorrow!! It is picture day!!

Epcot

It is exactly 6:21am right now and I am completely ready for Epcot. I can't wait! And yes, the DeBacker family wakes up at 6 to go to Disney parks. We're a bit crazy.

Anyway, we are going to have clear skies till 1, and then rainy the rest of the day. The DeBacker's like rain because it clears people out of the parks. Whoot! Whoot! Anyway, I'd better wrap this up cause we are going to leave real soon.

FLORIDA!!!!!

Howdy everyone! I am lounging around in FLORIDA right now! Let me give you a not-so-quick synopsis of how our trip has been so far.

Alrighty. So on the 19th, we were going to head off to Florida. Driving. But instead, my parents surprised us by saying, "Instead of driving all of that way to Florida, we are going to go to another hotel in Detroit, and at 3 the next morning, we are going to drive to the airport, and FLY!" It was so cool. We freaked out.

 After we reached Tampa at 9:00 the next day, we rented a car and drove to Plant City. (better known as "strawberry place") We had ice cream for breakfast! Then we drove an hour to our hotel in Orlando. We did normal stuff, like swim, and swim, and swim, and then, my dad asked if we wanted to go to the amusement park across the street from our hotel! We said yes, and we spent the rest of the night riding rides and running back and forth. It was a lot of fun.

The next day was just normal. A relaxing day, filled with swimming, swimming, swimming, and Downtown Disney at the end of the day.

The 22nd, was very fun. We swam, (of course) and we went to Downtown Disney at the end of the day and I bought a SWEET hat. It is a baseball cap and it's orange and says "property of walt disney world." I love it. 

Yesterday, we swam a lot. Because we went to Typhoon Lagoon! I had tons of fun. When we got there, the biggest ride, Crush and Gusher, was closed. But it opened later at the end of the day, and we got to go on it. It was a lot of fun because it shot you upwards up a tube, then down, then up. Really cool. We hit the Shark Reef like 8 times. The Shark Reef is where you swim with sharks. You put

 on a snorkel and mask and hit the reef! It's saltwater and VERY cold. But you get used to it. We went on Humunga Cowabunga a lot. That was super fun too. It is just like Summit Plummit at Blizzard Beach, but like half the size and there are three of them. The wave pool was a big hit with us. 6 foot waves baby! They litterally sweep you off your feet. You knock over tons of people on your way to shore. Very fun. I bodysurfed like once. It was cool.

After we left Typhoon Lagoon, we changed into clothes and went to CityWalk. CityWalk is Universal Studios' Downtown Disney, except it is way bigger and much like a city. We had fun walking around there. I saw so many people with Harry Potter stuff. I was so jealous. Soph and I spotted the Hogwarts Castle. SO COOL! I want to go so bad.

Anyway, that is the not-so-quick synopsis of how our week has been, and it's gonna get better because tomorrow we head off to Epcot for the day. I'll be sure to post!

Good Morning America!

Good morning everybody! Crisilee here! We have some big plans for today. Well, not really. We just got done eating breakfast, and we are watching Phineas and Ferb right now. Then we are going to go swimming! In a day we head off to FLORIDA!!!!!! Again, I am super excited. We are going to go to Epcot! I can't wait! My favorite ride there is Mission Space. It's really awesome. The first time I rode it, I wanted to become an astronaut, but then I decided to just stick with the ride. Well I'd better get going!

Cadillac

Yo people of the world! CC here! Just wanted to let y'all know that me and my family have made it safely to Cadillac. We had loads of fun today, swimming, walking by the lake, and taking photos. I've had a lot of fun. In 2 days we head off to FLORIDA! The Sunshine State!! Super excited. I'll keep you up to date, I promise.

Death By Corn

Howdy everyone! This is CC......Just want to fill you in on what my family is doing today, so listen up.

Today my family is going to go out to Goose Lake and hang with cousins, aunts, uncles, the whole shabang. We are going to swim, explore, all sorts of stuff. Also, we are going to have........



DEATH BY CORN!!!!!!!!!

Which is where you take corn on the cob, and cover it in whatever you want. Mayonnaise, spices, Parmesan
cheese, salt, parsley, all sorts of stuff like that. I am super excited. We only do this, like, once a year, so this is gonna be awesome.

Car Show!

I just got back from my grandpa Lloyd Ganton's 7th annual car show!!! Once a year he has it on his birthday! Every year hundreds of people bring there cars, old, new, slick, shiny, all kinds! We have huge hotdogs, popcorn, balloon animals, ice cream, and my favorite, cake! You can also win the trophie as coolest car of the year! It lasts all day so come have fun!!!!!!

                                       There once was a family of four boys , and a father .one day while the dad was ready to leave for work the boys thought it would be pretty funny to push the porta-potty they had of the side of the cliff - did i mention they lived on a hill? ah well. so the boys pushed it of the hill. later that night when the father came home and saw what they had done he came into the house to speak to the boys ....''ALL WRIGHT WHICH ONE OF YOU BOYS PUSHED THE PORTA-POTTY OF THE HILL?none of the  of boys said a word .. ''STEP FORWARD'' says dad . no one did . well dad had an idea he told his sons the story of George Washington and the cherry tree and about how George apologized  to his father and told the truth about the cherry tree and so george was not punished but rewarded . so one of the sons stepped forward and said boldly '' I DID IT DADDY!!!  well now, by complete surprise the dad picked up the son and spanked the crud out of him!!!!!! he said dad why??? i was supposed to get a reward for being honest!  '' WELL GEORGE WASHINGTONS DADDY WASNT IN THE CHERRY TREE WHEN HE CHOPPED IT DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the end

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Hildegarde. She wanted a pet. Hildegarde's favorite color was purple. (if it wasn't then I so wouldn't be writing about her!) Hildegarde went up to her mom and asked if she could go pet hunting. Her mom said OK, so off Hildegarde went. Hildegarde wanted a purple pet. She started off by laying plums all around her house. Then she put out purple yarn and purple food dishes. After that, she went inside and waited. A few hours later, Hildegarde went outside and saw a ginormous monster. It was the infamous One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater. It ate Hildegarde.

Hello people of the world. CC here. Thanks for reading our story. Well, anyway, people of the world, now you know how to find the One Eyed One Horned, ah forget it. You know what it's called. I hope that you aren't scared to look for this magnificent beast just because it ate poor Hildegarde! But if you aren't, just don't lay out purple yarn. I think that's why Hildegarde is no longer with us. I know that I would be VERY VERY VERY VERY scared of hunting this VERY VERY VERY scary monster. But perhaps, you are braver than me. WAAAAAYYYYY braver. I'm scared of scotch tape! Heh heh.

Howdy world people! This is Crisilee here! I have nothing to do and I was just itching to post so I did. My family just got done watching our Florida videos to prepare for our big trip on Tuesday. I am SUPER excited. You all probably know about that because Tori mentioned it in her post. I luv ya Tori! If you didn't already know, Tori is awesome and she is my BFFAEAEAEAEAEAEAI!!!!!(won't tell you what that means cause its secret! mwahahahaha!) I am so glad that we became friends.
